Love Your Neighbor As Yourself! A Code of Jewish Ethics

Loving your neighbor as yourself seems like a vague, simple, yet profound Commandment. In the second volume of Rabbi Joseph Telushkin’s, A Code of Jewish Ethics*, we will explore the ethics of hospitality, visiting the sick, comforting mourners, and giving tzedakah to name a few.

The focus of this class will be on how Judaism understands the dynamics between the individual and the community as well as the how and why of bringing the value of kindness to others.

Class Dates: Monday Evenings 7:15 pm beginning February 6th and run until May

* Required book: A Code of Jewish Ethics Volume 2, Rabbi Joseph Telushkin
