“Hill 24 Doesn’t Answer”
Set during the 1948 Arab - Israeli War, this landmark film of 1955 is the first feature film produced in the newly created state of Israel and was entered into the 1955 Cannes Film Festival.
Charles Ticho, father of JCC board member Ron Ticho, was the film’s sound engineer. He will be here to introduce the film and share stories and insights with us about this achievement in Israel’s history.
