A cancer diagnosis is no walk in the park. We often think we can handle the diagnosis, treatment and aftermath on our own. After all, we've all been trained to be strong and independent. But research says otherwise. It says that to have the most success in combating cancer, we need to be strong physically, mentally and emotionally.
To learn more about what helps make people strong so they can face cancer with confidence, join the Women's Division of the Jewish Federation and the Cancer Support Community of the Greater Lehigh Valley for an interactive Lunch & Learn.
Hear from Cancer Support Community staff, then visit stations where you will learn the warrior pose, nutrition ammunition and creative arts for inner strength.
Program is $12, including lunch, and open to men and women. To register, call 610-821-5500 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
