Joining Hands, Helping Others: An Installation Event
- Date: November 18, 2023 (register by 11/15)
- Torah Study: 9:30am-10:30am
- Hamsa Making: 10:30am-11:30am
Come spend the morning together as we honor Rabbi Tornberg's installation, her role in guiding and inspiring us, and our commitment to the Jewish community. We will study Torah, partner with Jewish Family Service on a mitzvah project and make hamsas, a symbol of protection and the hand of God. The hamsas will then be hung throughout KI to remind us of our obligation to provide "helping hands" to those in need and as a testament to the strength of our community. Light lunch to follow. Ages 10 to 100.
