Jewish Federations are horrified at the antisemitic terrorist attack in Manchester targeting Jews on the holiest day of the year, Yom Kippur.

Once again, we are witnessing hate-filled violence against innocents who are doing nothing more than gathering in community to pray. It is incomprehensible and must stop.

We mourn the victims, may their memories be a blessing, and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.

At times such as this, we are grateful that every Jewish community now has a Community Security Initiative supported by their local Federation that is working with every synagogue and communal institution to keep us safe.
