This course will examine a variety of 20th and 21st century Jewish thinkers and their approach to 'God', 'Torah', 'Spirituality', 'Zionism' and 'Jewish Peoplehood'. To be an American Jew today necessitates answers to some of these critical questions. In examining how some Jewish thinkers have approached these varied topics, it can help clarify one's own personal belief system.
