Responding to Needs in the Lehigh Valley

Each year, the Jewish Federation appoints an Allocations Committee made up of a broad range of community members to oversee the distribution of funds to local constituent agencies serving the Lehigh Valley Jewish community in the areas of social services, Jewish education, arts and culture, youth and young adults, community building and services for seniors.

Committee members review and prioritize requests for funding from local constituent agencies to meet the social services, education, or health needs of community members or provide social, recreational, educational and cultural opportunities within the Jewish community.

Each year the Allocations Committee submits its funding recommendations to the Jewish Federation's Board of Directors. Read our annual report to learn more about where this funding goes.
